more from the Lott family

We enjoyed camping up Logan Canyon in July.  The boys had fun fishing and we all enjoyed yummy food.  One night the boys cooked up the trout they had caught.  Another night we had tin foil dinners.  Adam made a massive one for himself.  We bet him $5 he couldn't eat it.  Of course he had to prove us wrong.  He was so full.  He said he doesn't ever want to eat one again.  Too be honest, it was big enough to feed two grown men.  He is crazy for eating it.  It was pretty funny to watch.

Ethan wanted to swim in the Logan River.  It was freezing and kept us laughing.  At least he got his bath for the month- ha ha.

First day of school
Ethan was so excited to start 7th grade and go to Jr. High.  He had actually been counting down the days for school to start.

Adam is in the 10th grade and started High School.  It's crazy I do not have any kids in elementary school anymore.  They are growing up way too quickly.

Check out these cucumbers.  We didn't fertilize them or over water them.  They boys entered the biggest one in the Hooper Tomato Days vegetable contest and set a new record.  The last record was like 10.5 lbs.  Their new record was like 16.5 lbs and they took Best in Show as well.  They were sooo excited.  I had them split the $7 prize money.  We also got some other ribbons for other vegetables.  We love Hooper Tomato Days.  It's such a fun town activity.

These are out of order, but also happened this summer...

Ethan was so excited to finally get braces.  We told him they aren't as fun as he thinks they will be.  Funny he now knows we were right and he is counting down the days till he gets them off.  He also joked that it's too bad masks are not mandatory at school again so no one would have to see the huge gap between his front teeth that his expander created.  Ha Ha.

We had fun kayaking at Willard Bay.  The water was warm and it felt great.

Ethan holding my friend's cute bunny- no we are not getting a bunny.  We have way to many pets right now.

Baptism for the dead with my parents.  It was very special for us to be proxy for my mom's brother, brother-in-law, nephew, and her cousins.  The Spirit was very strong.  I knew these people.  We are so blessed to know we can do this special and important work for those who have gone before us.  I am so happy the temples are open again.

Ethan is so happy to be 13.  I only hope he will not start acting like a teenager.  He is especially happy he can finally start to watch PG-13 movies.  I did explain to him that there are still a lot of PG-13 movies that are really bad and that no one should watch.  He is mostly happy he can watch all the Avenger movies.

Crazy the similarities of these two.  They are even dressed in the same color.  They are both enjoying a Toaster Strudel in the evening.  They are my two junk food boys.  Another crazy thing is that Adam is only like an inch shorter than Alex.  Poor Alex won't be the tallest for long.

Ethan obviously likes junk as well.  This is what he got from his friends for his birthday.  Funny now Adam is tryin to buy some off of him.

Mike and the boys have enjoyed attending the Aggie football games.  I have enjoyed them attending as well, as I get alone time.  Ha ha.

We have had a wonderful year.  So many new memories and so many blessings and miracles along the way.
