Updates from Hermana Lott

 ¡Hola todos!

This week was super fun. Transfers are next week! I was told that my first transfer in training would feel like forever, but it hasn'tπŸ˜‚. It has flown by so quickly. It feels like I got here yesterday and that I have been out here for ages.

Last week we had a district P-day! It was so much fun. My district is pretty much a Sistrict. Which means it is made up of mostly sisters. We have Sister Robinson and I, a trio of sisters, a set of sisters, and one set of elders. We went to Top Golf in Myrtle Beach, and our Zone Leader Elder Dearden joined us with his companion Elder Fox. I had never been before, but I really liked it. Top golf is pretty much the arcade game Ski Ball, but golf. You are hitting a golf ball from a room that doesn't have a back wall into big holes. I got 4th place, and Elder Dearden won with almost 100 points. BUT… I won the second round!😎 We had 5 minutes left and we started another one. It was really funny. After, we played a game called Bonanza (it is a game about beans). I haven't played that game since I was little.

On Wednesday, we went to our branch president's house for dinner. We had hamburgers and it was yummy. Sister Robinson and I are filming/videoing for our mission. We were given one of the nice mission cameras for a week to do the video. We filmed President Holt's family after we ate dinner. The video is going to be about Jesus Christ and how He is the light of the world. We almost had the video all put together and then the computer deleted itπŸ˜₯πŸ˜…. Now Sister Robinson and I have to start ALL over. We will hopefully have it finished in a couple of days.

It was THANKSGIVING!πŸ¦ƒIt honestly didn't feel like it though. Sister Robinson and I went over to a branch member's house. The Ballards are so cute. We love them. We had never actually met them before. They have been traveling so they had to keep going into quarantine. The food they made was delicious. They gave us leftovers and leftovers for Dina. We did a service project with Dina a couple weeks ago (the 9 hr. one). Then we went over to Dina's house. She didn't have anyone to spend Thanksgiving with, so we brought her food and joined her. She is so sweet. I love her so much. We taught her a lesson about families and the plan of salvation. She was sooo excited to get her own Book of Mormon.😊

Sister Robinson and I went on another exchange this weekπŸ˜…. Do you see a pattern? I actually love doing exchanges. I get to meet more sisters! I love seeing their different personalities, strengths, and the way that they teach. This exchange was with the Hermanas! Finally the chance to use my Spanish! It was a lot of fun doing this exchange. I was able to practice my Spanish and learn some new ways to study. We didn't end up having a lesson so we just studied more Spanish. We also did some Facebook finding (which is finding people on Facebook to teach) and found some people to teach! Hermana Brady and Kalama are going to do a Facebook video call to study Spanish together. I am pumped to do that so I can prep for when I go to a Spanish area.😁

Willie watched the live streamed church again! Sister Robinson and I were so happy. He is such a great guy and wants to keep learning more. We are going to put him on date for baptism.πŸ˜† I am so excited!

I have been studying in Ether right now. This book can relate to our lives so much. I was studying Come Follow Me for this week and the section was the end of Ether. Ether 13:21-22 says, "(21) Otherwise they should be destroyed, and all his household save it were himself. And he should only live to see the fulfilling of the prophecies which had been spoken concerning another people receiving the land for their inheritance; and Coriantumr should receive a burial by them; and every soul should be destroyed save it were Coriantumr. (22) And it came to pass that Coriantumr repented not, neither his household, neither the people; and the wars ceased not; and they sought to kill Ether, but he fled from before them and hid again in the cavity of the rock." Pretty much Ch. 13-15 is about the destruction of the Jaredites because they didn't listen to Ether. They listened to their own council and were wiped off of the face of the earth. This reminded me about President Nelson's message of healing and hope that we had about a week and a half ago. Prophets were given to us for a reason. They testify of Jesus Christ, receive revelation from God to give to us, and they lead us. I love the scripture in Isaiah and D&C 101:45 that talks about watchmen being on a tower. The watchmen are placed there to sound a voice of warning so we can prepare for the enemy that is coming. The watchmen are prophets and apostles. Listen to the words and voice of the prophet for they will not lead you astray.

Love you guys! Have a great week!
