A few people have been asking about the status of this blog. As things have slowed down a bit, and the Lott family is adjusting to home life, the posts will likely be less frequent, but Cath has asked that we continue to post periodic updates. So here we are.
First of all, the Lott family has welcomed all to participate in a memorial day for Ryan each month. We'd like to invite all willing to
wear something orange on the 12th of each month in memory of Ryan. Please pass this on, as those visiting the site has diminished in the last few weeks.

Schoolmates Wearing Orange in Support of Ryan |
Again, thank you to all those who have initiated, orchestrated, participated in, and donated to the Lott family. Thank you to the school and all of Ryan's classmates. The support has been overwhelming, and has resulted in a great financial blessing for Mike and Cath.

I'm so glad you are keeping this blog alive! I have had many people tell me they wanted to keep up on how the Lott family is doing. I am deeply touched by the picture of Ryan's school - all wearing orange. What a sweet tribute to him! Also, the picture of the kids standing on the beach is precious!

Love that you all will contiue to post on the blog! What a great idea to wear orange on the 12th of each month. I am so glad the kids got to get away somewhere fun and spend time with family after all they went through. Thanks for the update Luke!
ReplyDeleteI check this site every couple of days..not sure exactly what for except I am always thinking of you all and hoping you are remembering and sharing great memories of Ryan. Its going to be hard to keep up with all the "Amazing" stories he will share one day so remember to look up and smile now and again because he is right there. Anyone that loved him has fealt that...he has touched so many lives by his amazing spirit and comfort he has given to those that care so much for him and his family. Love you
